How to Join
A person can become a member of Hernando Baptist Church upon approval of the church and completion of the following:
1. Request church membership in one of the following ways:
- By Profession of Faith: A person publicly confessing personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and giving evidence of a regenerate heart shall, upon baptism, be admitted into the fellowship of the church
- By Statement: Any person may join by statement if he has been a member of another denomination where he received Christ and was baptized by immersion for obedience, not regeneration.
- By Letter: Any person from another Southern Baptist Church may be received into membership upon receipt of letter of transfer.
- By Baptism: A person may join by being baptized by immersion if they have been saved but have never been baptized.
2. Complete the new members class.
3. Submit name to a Life Group class.
4. Sign the Membership Covenant.
